Highlights 2009/10

• Supporting our Native Sisters through the sale of Awakening, a limited edition print from renowned Canadian artist David Alexander Risk. The original painting was donated to WICC and is hanging in the Toronto School of Theology building.  
• The release of the Fall edition of Riding the Waves, highlighting 2010 World Day of Prayer host country Cameroon; featuring a cover article by Cameroonian journalist Irine Asanji; information on grants funded by World Day of Prayer Offerings; the Fellowship of the Least Coin Prayer Concerns for 2010; Council News; our new Youth page; Book Reviews; a WDP Theological Workshop and a follow-up article on the efforts made to protect women and children, who may be vulnerable to Human Sex Trafficking, during the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
• Keeping our website continually updated with timely information important to our faithful community.
• Supporting the refugee women of Camp Budaburam in Ghana, through the organization ‘Provision of Hope’. 
• Supporting education and community projects that help women and children around the world through our annual grants, highlighted in Riding the Waves as our Gifts in Action.
